Turn left, and then right to cross the hall and go right to exit this area onto a long hall with some blight to your left, making you go right instead to end up at the hall on the other side of the first pool of blight.you can climb around it if you wish, but if you'd rather not, continue straight until you can make your next right through a doorway. As you go down the steps, to the right will be a patch of blight.This is the only entrance on this side so you can’t miss it. Continue walking until you reach an opening on the left side of the inside labyrinth wall.Make a left and you should still be outside the main labyrinth.Instead make your immediate right which will take you along the outside wall of the labyrinth.You should see steps (the shrine is below them) but don’t head straight.Enter the South Lomei Labyrinth from the main entrance to the north (fly down to the entrance if you took the mountain route).You can also take the path along the high mountains down Southeast from the Wasteland Tower and Spectacle Rock to paraglide down to the labyrinth, but be aware that Bokoblin snipers patrol the high walls. The most common is the ground path through the area known as Champion's Gate - located next to the East Barrens, North from the Keive Tala Shrine. There are several paths you can take to reach the Labyrinth. To begin this shrine quest, enter the South Lomei Labyrinth in the eastern portion of Gerudo Desert between Mount Granajh and the East Barrens at the foot of Daval Peak. If you try to use Teleport while in Ancient's Maze, it also takes you to that same spot, since it was the last overworld area you were in.Video: Barbarian Armor Set Locations Upgrade Using Teleport while in the Crystal Tower simply takes you to between the Crystal Tower and the Ancient's Maze. And remember, if you want to go back to the airship, visit another town, or do basically anything not in the Crystal Tower, you'll need to wind back through the maze. Take the opportunity to save before heading into the Crystal Tower. Head through the door to find yourself on the world map, with the Crystal Tower just ahead. Be sure to go south once you're at the north end of the room to get the last chest, with Hellish Claws. Grab the Holy Lance from it, then head around the path, either east or west, both paths converge at the northern part of the room. On the fifth floor, head north until you see a chest. Wind around the path on the fourth floor, grabbing a Phoenix Down and Protect Ring along the way. Head back to the north and open the chest with Dual Haken to the northeast before going through the passage in the wall to the east. All the way to the south are three chests with Break Blade, Phoenix Down and Chocobo's Wrath. On the third level, go east and grab the chest with the Crystal Helm, then go south. Follow the path to the east, open a chest for Crystal Gloves, then go through the passage in the wall to the east. Go north, picking up White Musk from the chest on the way. Return to the east and follow the path around to the west, then pick up Crystal Mail from the chest to the south. On the second level, immediately go west for two chests with Crystal Shield and Lilith's Kiss. Don't worry that you didn't go west from the entrance: the path is a big circle. Grab the Elixir from the chest along the way, then head for the stairs to the northwest. Refer to the map in this section for the NES version.įrom the entrance of the maze, go east and around to the north. The text instructions below only apply to the 3D versions of the game. You'll see the Earth Crystal! But, wait, didn't Goldor destroy it? Before you can think too much about it, you are attacked!Īfter you're all rested, change to some of the new jobs if you wish (they are quite strong) and head back inside the Ancient's Maze for round two. Keep your jobs the same as the last area for now.Įnter the Ancient's Maze, then go through the door to the north. Make sure you heal up and save before entering. Get back in your airship, hop the tiny mountain to the west, and fly through a large open area before coming to a huge tower, surrounded by a wall. The statues crumble, two by two, as you walk through them, until there are none left. Now that you have all the Fangs, you're allowed to pass. You may have already crumbled a few statues if you've tried to walk through here before, but the last set refused to budge. Just west of the Cave of Shadows are four sets of statues. You'll need the Invincible for this part, so go back and exchange it for the Nautilus if you haven't already.
